Gear Rental Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Actrica! Before renting any gear from our website, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions. By renting gear from us, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions:

Rental Agreement :

• The rental agreement is solely between Actrica and the renter.
• The gear rented from Actrica shall be used strictly for personal purposes and not for commercial use, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Rental Period :

• The rental period starts on the agreed-upon start date and time and ends on the agreed-upon return date and time.
• The Renter shall return the gear promptly at the end of the rental period. Late returns may incur additional charges. The renter will be responsible for any losses resulting from late returns. Actrica maintains the authority to make final decisions regarding penalties and their respective amounts.
• Pickup & Return time : 9am-4pm
• 1 day count from 12am – 12am

Reservation and Payment :

• The Renter must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid identification document to make a reservation.
• Reservations can be made online through our website and by contacting our customer support team.
• The Renter agrees to pay the total rental fee, including any applicable taxes, fees, and security deposits, at the time of reservation or upon gear pickup.
• Payments can be made using the accepted methods specified on our website.

Security Deposit :

• The Renter is required to provide a security deposit in addition to the rental fee.
• The security deposit will be refunded to the Renter after the gear is returned in the same condition as it was rented, minus any deductions for damages, missing items, or additional fees incurred during the rental period. Please check the damages reference chart for more information. Actrica holds the authority to make final decisions concerning the deduction of the deposit and the corresponding amounts.
• Deposit that are paid via website can be refunded without deducting transactions fees within 7 days of payment. Click for more details
• Please note that security deposit refunding after 7 days of payment will deducted by at least 3% transaction fees which are collected by the credit card platform. Actrica does not bear this fees. Therefore, please pay attention to the online security deposit procedures to avoid loss.
• Deposit especially for roof top tents are high. There are ways you may pay less for deposit
  

Cancellations and Changes :

• Cancellations or modifications to a reservation must be made in advance, within the specified minimum dates outlined during the booking process. Renter should understand that a percentage penalties will be made which is also specified during the booking process.
• Actrica reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, equipment unavailability, or any other reason. In such cases, Actrica will provide alternative options or a full / partial refund to the Renter.

Gear Usage and Care :

• The Renter shall use the gear in a responsible and safe manner, following all applicable laws and regulations.
• The Renter shall not sublease, transfer, or lend the rented gear to any third party without the Actrica’s prior written consent.
• The Renter shall be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft that occurs during the rental period and shall reimburse Actrica accordingly.
• The Renter shall return the gear in the same condition as it was rented, excluding normal wear and tear.

Liability :

• Actrica shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, injuries, or losses incurred by the Renter or any third party during the rental period.
• The Renter acknowledges that they assume all risks associated with the use of the rented gear and releases Actrica from any liability.

Insurance :

• The Renter is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for the rented gear, if desired.
• Actrica provides non-fully covered insurance product for Renter, please contact customer supporting team for more details.
• The Renter acknowledges that any insurance provided by Actrica may have limitations and exclusions and that it is their responsibility to review and understand the terms of such insurance.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction :

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.
• Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Greece.

Miscellaneous :

• These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Actrica and the Renter, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
• Actrica reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice, and it is the Renter’s responsibility to review them periodically.

By renting gear from Actrica, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
