Insurance (Actrica)

The insurance product aims to lower the impact of damages incurred during rental services to the renters.

The insurance policies are outlined below:

1. Minimum amount of insurance is €1.
2. The insurance coverage amount is determined based on the non-discounted total price of the rented gears.
3. Purchased 1% amount of original rented gears’ total price = Covered 4% of the gears’ compensation total price.
4. Maximum coverage will be 40% of the gears’ compensation price, in other words, purchase 10% amount of original rented gears’ total price.
5. It is your choice to purchase between 0% – 10% of original total renting price, which covers from 0% – 40% proportionally.
6. Example
   1. Rented a tent and few accessories
   2. Original total price = €510
   3. Discounted total price = €300
   4. Total compensation price = €2000
   5. Deposit in cash = €1000
   6. Allowed purchasable insurance amount €51 maximum, covering €800 (40%) out of €2000 maximum
   7. Purchased €30 insurance, which is 5.88% of original rented gears’ total price
   8. Covered 5.88% x 4 = 23.53% of total compensation price
   9. All gears FULL damaged
   10. Compensation – Covered Insurance = €2000-470.6 = €1529.4
   11. No deposit is returned, extra €529.4 is required to pay
   12. Insurance prevented €470.6 – €30 (insurance cost) = €440.6
